👤 Adult Counselling
Healing, Growth & Empowered Living
Life brings a lot—stress, transitions, grief, anxiety, self-doubt. As adults, we’re expected to “have it together,” even when we don’t.
Here’s how I support you:
- A safe, confidential space where your emotions, patterns, and challenges are deeply heard
- Professional support tailored to issues like anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and more
- Personalized tools from cognitive-behavioural techniques, strength-based, mindfulness somatic awareness, and trauma-informed care
- Compassionate guidance from someone who listens without judgment and suggests practical, impactful next steps
🧒 Child & Youth Counselling
Nurturing Young Hearts & Developing Minds
Growing up isn’t easy. Kids and teens face pressures at school, in relationships, around identity, and with big emotions.
I provide:
- Play-based, age-appropriate strategies (drawing from art therapy, expressive modalities, CBT, and mindfulness)
- Focus on emotional literacy, self-regulation, resilience, identity development, and family communication
- A parent-coach model—you and I will collaborate, offering insight and tools to support your child’s ongoing growth
- Heartfelt, professional support designed to help young people feel understood, grounded, and confident in their unfolding journey.

FAQ – Counselling Services
What issues can counselling help with?
Counselling can support you through anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship struggles, self-esteem issues, identity concerns, career transitions, academic stress, parenting challenges, and trauma recovery. It’s a safe space to explore what’s weighing on you and find healthier coping strategies.
How long does counselling typically take?
Many clients notice positive changes in 6-8 sessions, though timing varies based on your goals. Some benefit from short-term, focused work; others prefer ongoing support to maintain lasting growth.
How much does counselling cost and is it covered by insurance?
My clinical rate is $180 per session, but can vary based on individual needs. I am a registered provider, so many clients are eligible for reimbursement through extended health plans that cover services by registered counsellors or social workers. It’s best to check with your insurer directly.
Is online counselling as effective as in-person?
Yes—research shows that secure online counselling can be just as effective as face-to-face sessions. Plus, it offers greater convenience and privacy, allowing you to attend from anywhere.
Is counselling confidential and private?
Absolutely. Your privacy is a priority. Counselling sessions are fully confidential, with legal exceptions only in cases of risk of harm to self or others or disclosed child abuse. These exceptions are fully disclosed during intake.
How do I know if counselling is right for me?
Counselling may be right for you if you:
- Feel stuck, stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed
- Are going through a major life transition
- Want support improving relationships or parenting
- Crave deeper self-understanding and purpose
- Prefer a safe, nonjudgmental space with a trained professional
